Animate your sets with 14 professional Beat FX and 6 Sound Color FX, and trigger software-specific features using the 16 multicolored Performance Pads. And, thanks to flexible media support, you can choose from a variety of ways to perform. This 4-channel system features a professional layout – so you’ll feel exactly like you’re using our club-standard NXS2 setup. Wherever you take it, the XDJ-XZ gives you all the features you need to get the job done. Sure, the crossfader could be better, but let's not pretend the 900nxs2 was ever scratch battle ready, and yeah a lot of the settings are in the menus rather than on the faceplate, but that doesn't mean it's a djm750.The Pioneer XDJ-XZ is a professional all-in-one DJ system that’s perfect for events, a bar or club, or your private studio. Unless you have some specs from the manuals, I'm going to have to disagree with you on the differences with the EQ/upfader curves and such after having A/B tested the two rigs side by side myself. Really not sure what your on about with the mixer section. Plus, it's the first of the all-in-one units that I would feel comfortable asking a touring talent DJ to consider playing on in an emergency, because the full size platters and, yes, accurate port of a 900nxs2 experience are at least competently playable compared to the older rx1/2. They're not gonna get the shit kicked out of them in the same way as our mainstage rig, and with all the same connectivity that you need to be able to hook up two extra decks if need be, plus some solid on board audio processing like the feedback reduction and master EQ, they make perfect sense for that size venue. We typically run two full cdj/mixer 4x1s in the two main rooms, and we got an XZ for the third room since it's a low key art gallery space that we typically have first timer locals play on.įrom personal experience with both, I can absolutely understand why smaller venues would purchase an XZ as their main system. I work(ed) in a three-room club in a major metro area.
